The Comet

Flying through the universe amongst the stars
Flying around wondrous, not knowing who you are
Not knowing the path that you are being lead to
Head first in to a mysterious journey without a clue
Passing the other planets during life's rendezvous
Deciding to look forward and to never look back
But all comets follow a ellipse so in due time you'll be back
On the same path but with a different view
A new fire to your desire, a revamped new YOU
In the sky you stay fly, but on Earth you're grounded
Anxious, confused about your surrounding
Your dreams might be flying through the vast mass of Space
But your ambition and God doesnt have you too far from that place
So when you looking in to the sky, asking when, where, and why
Know somebody, somwhere, ask the same thing and is waiting for that reply
Even as a comet, you're not alone in the universe
Your friends, family, and people in your life become the instrumental to your verse
So go to to the beat of the drum, knowing that as a Comet you're not alone
You are a future Star on the destiny to become that Sun.

Hark! the angel, she speaks of my follies
My chances along with my inconsistencies
Led me to a desert of desperation and hope
I reach my hand out and waited for someone to grab unto it
Dirt in my face, vision blur, I can't see where I'm going
HE pulled me up and told me "All will be okay
Trust in HIM and HE would lead the way.
HE will give me the words to say"
I got up, brush the dirt off my face
Repented and started my journey
Washed away my sorrows in the oceans of your eyes
I'm still on my journey and I have no idea when it will ever end
But I smile cause in my heart, you are my lover and my friend
